Welcome to the Department of Mass Communication at McNeese State University!

Our mission is to educate students to think and act as responsible professionals and ethical citizens in a global community. We desire to work personally to prepare students for career opportunities in our technical society and develop effective communicators on paper, on air, and online.

The department is also home to the university's national champion forensics team.

With the help our Media Advisory Board and Department Sponsors the Department of Mass Communication is positioning our students to be leaders in the workplace and beyond.
